Travel to Morocco
Traveling to Morocco is very easy from most places within Europe . A short 3 ½ hours flight from the UK or by taking a ferry from Spain 's mainland, Morocco really is convenient.
By Air
There are plenty of direct flights from all of the major cities across Europe that provide services that are not only fast but also frequent. Morocco has its own national airline which is Royal Air Maroc ( www.royalairmaroc.com). But a number of the other well know airlines also travel there, such as Alitalia, Air France, British Airways, EasyJet, KLM, Lufthansa and Swiss Airlines.
You can fly to Morocco from the following airports:
ENGLAND: Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted, London City, Luton, Bristol, Newcastle, Southampton, Birmingham, East Midlands, Newcastle, Teeside, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds/Bradford, Sheffield
- WALES : Cardiff
- SCOTLAND : Aberdeen , Edinburgh , Glasgow , Prestwick
- NORTHERN IRELAND : Belfast City , Belfast Int'l
- IRISH REPUBLIC : Dublin , Cork
There are five international airports in Morocco :
- Casablanca (CMN) (Mohammed V)
- Fez ( FEZ )
- Marrakech (RAK)
- Rabat-Salé (RBA)
- Tangier (TNG) (Boukhalef Souahel)
All of these international airports have facilities within them such as Duty Free shops, Bureau de change, Restaurants, Bars, and Car hire companies, including some of the larger companies such as Avis, Europcar and Hertz, to name but a few.
There is also the option of taking domestic flights and these are from the main airport Casablanca , run by the countries main carrier Royal Air Maroc. These internal flights are fast and efficient but can be an expensive way to travel
All of the airports in Morocco are being considered for an upgrade and some are in the process of that at the moment. As well as upgrading the terminal buildings already there, through the open skies agreement there will be an increase of airlines flying into the brand new airport being built in Tangier in the near future.

Lines serving these ports are:
- Bland Line (from Spain and Gibraltar)

- Compañía Trasmediterránea
- Limadet, Polish Ocean Lines (from Northern Europe)

Due to their close proximity there are cheap car passenger ferries that run from southern Spain and Tangier's and these are mainly roll on, roll off basis car ferries.
