Lagoa de Coelho Location
Lagoa de Coelho Resort is located in the North East of Brazil, in an area between the sea and the rainforest 35 minutes away from the city of Natal. Natal is the nearest point to Europe and is the capital of the state of Rio Grande do Norte. Severo Ochoa, Natal’s airport is 35 minutes from the resort. And also, currently under construction, only 30 minutes away is the new international airport of Sao Gonzalo del Amarante, with anticipated traffic of 5 million passengers in 2009.
Climate
Natal, the land of sun, has an average annual temperature of 28 degrees and some of the purest air in the world according to a study by NASA. Brazil is not known to suffer from tropical storms, hurricanes and earthquakes. There are only small variations in seasonal temperatures. The rainy season is from April to June, and even then the temperature is still around a healthy 24 degrees and after intense rain the sun always shines again.
